It is exciting to be part of the 20 year anniversary of Spring Fling this year - a vibrant showcase of art and creation in Dumfries and Galloway. Having moved to Blates Mill recently in a return to Galloway from a sojourn in rural Wales, there is plenty to show and much to do. My newly converted studio is being readied to show a collection of paintings, prints and cards and to join the many artists taking part in the festival. I am on the 'Pink Route' about 1.5 miles north of Laurieston on the New Galloway road.
