Edgelands - talk on my work

I was delighted to learn that Mossdale Painters' Group, who normally meet at their village hall to share in the joy of painting together, decided to organise an 'outing' to visit my Edgelands exhibition at the WWT Caelaverock centre. They also asked me if I could give them a talk on my work and approach to painting. I naturally obliged, although I am the first to admit that public-speaking is not my forte. Nevertheless, they seemed to enjoy my take on how I draw inspiration from landscape and nature around me, and how I express that through my use of colour, composition and techniques in my work.

I was pleased to welcome the Mossdale Painters to my exhibition and to have offered some insight into what goes into my painting.
