Carrick shore is a special wild shore in Galloway - a place I like to visit. It is a quiet, contemplative spot where gulls call and shore birds congregate at the tideline. I find it a place of inspiration.

The painting depicts a reedy backwater near the shore, home to many nesting birds . It recently won 2nd prize in the 2024 'Wild solway' exhibition at The WWT reserve in Caerlaverock near dumfries

Sizes given are approximate, according to the dimensions of the original. If you have particular size requirements please indicate these when placing your order and I will endeavour to match them.
